Trouble opening genAItelco?
Information for IT and security teams. Updated 21 October 2026.
Some company networks block genaitelco.com because their web filter holds no rating for the domain, or rates it by its name. This page gives a security team what it needs to review the site and allow it.
Who runs this site
genAItelco is published by MTN Consulting, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company and an independent telecom and digital infrastructure research firm (mtn-c.com). Matt Walker, Founder and Chief Analyst, runs the site. Write to him at matt@mtn-c.com. The domain was registered on 23 November 2023.
What the site is
genAItelco is a research and news site about how telecom operators use artificial intelligence. It carries news, an events calendar, reference pages and the Telco Workforce Monitor, a dashboard of headcount and labor-cost data for 145 telecom operators. The site does not run an AI service. It has no chat box, takes no prompts and hosts no user files.
Which hosts a visit loads
- genaitelco.com and www.genaitelco.com serve every page, style sheet, script and data file over HTTPS. The server is a DreamHost machine at 75.119.206.149. If these hosts are blocked, the site does not load.
- www.googletagmanager.com loads the Google Analytics tag that counts page views. Every page works without it.
- fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com supply the Barlow typeface on the dashboard page only. Without them the dashboard shows a system font.
- buy.stripe.com opens only when a visitor clicks a purchase button. Stripe hosts the payment page, and this site never sees card numbers.
- genaitelco.substack.com and insights.genaitelco.com carry newsletter posts on Substack. The site links to them, and they run on separate servers.
A visit loads no other outside host.
Downloads, forms and personal links
- The site offers no installers, executables or macros.
- The dashboard can build an Excel (.xlsx) file inside the visitor's browser.
- The dashboard registration form takes a first name, last name and email address, and posts them to genaitelco.com/register.php. The contact form posts to genaitelco.com/gt-forms.php.
- Evaluation and licensed users receive a personal link by email, in the form genaitelco.com/access.php?l=CODE, where CODE is a personal license code. The link opens a page that asks for a name and a work email address. Opening the link does not use up a seat. A seat is claimed only when the person submits that form, so an email security scanner that opens the link claims nothing.
- The dashboard is one HTML page of about 3.5 MB, with its scripts and data inside it. A gateway that scans or strips large scripted pages may need this page on its allow list.
The privacy notice lists what the site collects. Security reports go to matt@mtn-c.com, as listed in security.txt.
If your filter blocks the site
- Allow the hosts above. At a minimum, allow genaitelco.com and www.genaitelco.com.
- Ask your filter vendor to review the domain, and suggest a business or news category. If the filter files the site under generative AI or artificial intelligence because of its name, note that genAItelco publishes research about telecom operators and runs no AI service.
- Send us the category or message the block page shows. This email link opens a message with those four lines ready to fill in. We use the answer to ask the filter vendor for a correction.
If your network cannot change
Email matt@mtn-c.com. We will send the findings by email or walk you through the dashboard on a screen share.
